Our name comes from "Monkey Shoulder", a historic injury once suffered by malt men turning barley by hand. Thankfully, that part of whisky-making is long gone, but the name lives on as a nod to the people and craft behind every bottle.

And those three monkeys™ on our shoulder? They're a reminder of the three Speyside single malts that come together in every batch, making them a symbol of the blend at the heart of Monkey Shoulder.

Born in Speyside in 2005, Monkey Shoulder is built on the craft of Scotch whisky-making. We've brought together three carefully selected Speyside single malts to create a smooth, rich whisky full of character.

The result is an award-winning blend with notes of orange, vanilla and warming ginger, crafted with the same attention to quality that's been part of Monkey Shoulder from day one.
